Comments-the Community Responds

To Do: Click on "edit" in the edit bar of any text box. Click on the "Format" tab.

You'll see a check box labeled "Show Comments." If you click this box, you're letting the world write comments on your broadcast that you and the world can see. Whether you do this is up to you. Allowing this feature builds your readership by creating the feeling of community. The downside is that sometimes people can be rather frank, so be ready for it. You can always come back and uncheck the box.

To Do: Click on "Save Article" to save your changes and close the window.

Using the Edit Bar to Move Things Around

When you place a graphic or article, it lands at the top of the column. You can then move it to anyplace on the page.

To Do: Put your cursor over the edit bar of any item on the page. The cursor will change to a hand. Click AND hold the mouse button down. While you're holding, drag the item anywhere on the page. Then just let go.

Sometimes when you let go of the mouse button it may seem as if what you were dragging has disappeared. Actually it's just gone down to the bottom of the column. Scroll down to see it.
