"This Poem was inspired by a book I read that my great & talented friend Lisa Olson wrote.....The 9th Day, It was amazing and I am so proud of herIt is now going in print. I'm glad I was there to see her succeed, Lisa I love ya girl...remember when I wrote this?"
PURE EVIL
Every night he comes, watching and waiting as I sleep.
Smelling his breath on me as I start to weep.
All the painful memories, I try to erase.
Even when I close my eyes it is him I face.
I try to lock it away deep inside my vault
Trying to tell myself it isn't my fault.
He beats me down, leaves me cold and alone
Cuts into my soul and breaks my bones.
I feel I am going slowly insane
The agony I feel as my blood flows from my veins.
He cuts in deep into my flesh, he watches me bleed.
Lets me bleed out, just to feed his need.
I beg him to stop, I cant take no more.
My body is broken and my mind is sore.
The only thing that keeps me alive is my memories of yesterday
I beg and prey to GOD for this monster to go away
I'm falling apart, I am dying inside
Looking around in the shadows for a place to hide
I know he's coming back, to tear me apart
does this evil man have a heart.
I sit here motionless waiting to die,
noone here to hear my whispered cries.
Between life and death I am torn
I wish this day I was never born.
